Resolutions
Proposed resolutions should be submitted to the Issues & Advocacy Committee in the format used by prior resolutions (see below). They will then be placed on the agenda of the next regular meeting of the committee. Submitters need to attend that meeting to formally present the resolution. With the requisite public notice, the resolution then advances to the general meeting of the membership for a first reading, where adoption would require a two-thirds vote. Otherwise it may be adopted by simple majority on second reading at a subsequent monthly meeting.
